CleanBox — Terms of Service

Welcome to CleanBox ("CleanBox," "we," "our," "us").

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CleanBox website, application, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using CleanBox, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

1. Eligibility

To use CleanBox, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old
• Have a valid Google account
• Have the legal authority to accept these Terms

2. Description of the Service

CleanBox is an AI-powered email productivity tool that helps users:

• Clean and organize their Gmail inbox
• Categorize emails automatically or manually
• Use AI summaries and smart replies
• Convert voice recordings to email
• Identify spam and quarantine unwanted messages
• Improve inbox clarity and efficiency

CleanBox does not replace Gmail. It operates on top of your Gmail account using Google-approved OAuth permissions.

3. Your Google Account & Authorization

To use CleanBox, you must grant access through Google OAuth.

By doing so, you authorize CleanBox to:

• Read and modify emails
• Apply labels
• Move messages
• Generate AI summaries or replies
• Process voice recordings into email content

You may revoke access at any time via:

Google Account → Security → Third-Party Access → Remove CleanBox

If revoked, CleanBox will immediately stop syncing your Gmail data.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use CleanBox for illegal, harmful, or abusive purposes
• Interfere with the Service or attempt unauthorized access
• Reverse-engineer or modify the platform
• Use CleanBox to send spam or harmful content
• Violate Google's API Services User Data Policy

We may suspend or terminate access if these rules are violated.

5. User Content

You retain full ownership of your emails and any content you send through CleanBox.

By using the Service, you grant CleanBox permission to process your content solely to provide the Service — including cleaning, categorization, AI assistance, summaries, and voice-to-email features.

6. AI Features

CleanBox uses AI providers (e.g., Google Gemini) for:

• Summaries
• Smart replies
• Categorization
• Voice-to-email

AI requests are processed with zero retention whenever available.

Outputs may be imperfect—users should review before sending.

You agree you are responsible for any emails you send using AI assistance.

7. Payments & Subscriptions (If Applicable)

If CleanBox offers paid plans:

• Prices and features will be displayed clearly before purchase
• Charges are billed through a third-party provider such as Stripe
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled
• No refunds except where required by law

You may cancel at any time.

8. Service Availability & Updates

We aim to keep CleanBox available, but:

• We may update, modify, or discontinue features
• We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability
• We may revoke access if required by Google or law

We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or service interruptions.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security including:

• AES-256 encryption at rest
• TLS 1.3 encryption in transit
• Google Cloud & Firebase infrastructure protections

Despite best efforts, no service is 100% secure.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and devices.

10. Third-Party Services

CleanBox integrates with third-party services such as:

• Google APIs
• Google Gemini
• Firebase
• Cloud hosting/CDN providers
• Payment processors (if applicable)

We are not responsible for the terms, policies, or actions of these third parties.

11. Termination

You may stop using CleanBox at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if:

• You violate these Terms
• Google revokes necessary API permissions
• We discontinue the Service

Upon termination, all your stored data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

CleanBox is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee:

• Error-free operation
• Perfect AI accuracy
• Continuous availability
• Compatibility with all devices

Use the Service at your own risk.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

CleanBox, its owners, and its partners are not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages
• Data loss
• Email misclassification or errors caused by AI
• Loss of access due to Google API restrictions
• Any actions you take based on AI suggestions

Your sole remedy is to stop using the Service.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally.

When we do, we will post the updated version on our site.

Continued use of the Service means acceptance of the updated Terms.
